Last Friday I went to Sao Paulo to get my american visa.

The night before I was playing with my IPod and that music was such an inspiration… I always liked Pet Shop Boys, but at that night I was quite nostalgic and the music Being Boring really touched me. Specially the beginning of the video clip before the music starts…

“I came from New Castle in the North of England. We used to have lots of parties where everyone got dressed up. And on one party invitation was the quote “She was never bored because she was never boring“. The song is about growing up - the ideals that you have”.

That song put a lot of (more) optmism in my life, now I feel like a teenager again… I never feel bored because I am never boring! And I remembered that song and philosofy when I was waiting for the visa interview. Instead of being bored I had lots of fun observing those people for 3 hours.
